Roll up your sleeves in Gonville

News

It takes every one of us, doing our part, to defeat Covid-19. The vaccine is proven to be safe and effective, and more than two million New Zealanders are now fully vaccinated, with a further 68 per cent having had their first dose. Pop-up vaccination clinics are happening around the Whanganui region, to provide better access and the best possible protection. Gonville Health general practice and Gonville Health Pharmacy staff are all vaccinated, and are now providing an opportunity at the Gonville Centre for you to protect yourself , your wha¯nau and friends. The Waka Hauora health bus will be in the back carpark of the Gonville Centre in Abbot St, from Monday to Thursday, operating 9am to 4pm – no appointment required. The Whanganui DHB vaccination team will be offering the vaccines and are there to discuss any questions you may have. There is a lot of misinformation circulating and we want you to make an informed choice, and understand the benefits. So to get the facts, just ask at the vaccination clinic or check with your doctor or go to these websites www.karawhiua.nz and www.covid19.govt.nz for all the evidence-based information. For details of upcoming popup clinics, please visit the Whanganui DHB Facebook page.
