After having to be cancelled last year due to Covid-19, the Ledlenser Possum Night Trail Run returns for 2021 on the shortest day and the longest night of the year. The night-time walk/run is on Saturday, June 19, based at Wairakei Resort. Event director Nick Reader is thrilled to have it back in the Taupo¯ calendar. “We love this event. Everyone participates and gets into the spirit by dressing up and making the most of the night and the steam around the course.” Event options are a 5km, 12km or 21km run or walk and this year The Ledlenser Possum Night Trail Run is proud to be supporting Kids Greening Taupo¯ . Funds raised go to the student leadership kids at both a primary and secondary level.
