Residents invited to info session

Inlet News

Residents are in invited to an O¯ mokoroa Peninsula Projects — Information Evening to find out more about what’s happening in their neighbourhood, next Thursday, July 29 at the Omokoroa Settlers Hall. Hosted by Western Bay of Plenty District Council the drop-in information session is your opportunity to meet with Council during the course of the O¯ mokoroa Peninsula developments, find out more about the projects, and ask any questions you may have about specific projects. There will be no presentation, rather informal chats with staff, so feel free to turn up at any time. By 2060, the O¯ mokoroa peninsula will be fully developed and home to an estimated 12,000 residents. To cater for this significant growth and the need for continuing improvements to the peninsula’s infrastructure, Council is undertaking a series of projects — roading, recreation, cycleways, stormwater, building and planning — between now and 2022. Come and find out more and get an update on the Omokoroa projects underway — Thursday, July 29 at 4.30pm-6.30pm, O¯ mokoroa Settlers Hall, 334 O¯ mokoroa Rd, O¯ mokoroa.
